Artist's Description
One of the small side openings on a backyard fountain photographed with macro lens against a brick background that was too distracting although a good color and density, so added a textured screen to compliment the background and give the entire photography an antique or "old" look.

Thanks Jim and Marco for your kind comments on my artwork. This was the first composite textured background I did in response to an explanation on an individuals FineArt site on "how to" do it. The wall (background) was actually the ugly brick wall behind my fountain. I got very close to one of the water outlets which was about 1/4 of an inch using a 90mm macro lens. Even at F16 the depth of field on that lens is only an inch or so rendering the background totally out of focus and blended well with the textured background I used. I've received a lot of compliments on this capture... now if someone would buy it! Merry Christmas to all!
